I highly recommend this recipe (only with way less garlic powder). Tastes friggin amazing.
Made kabobs the other night with bacon-wrapped chicken breast stuffed with cream cheese (w/garlic, ginger, oregano, rosemary, and lemon zest), bell peppers, onion, and mushrooms. Smoked salt makes everything better--even bacon.
Had breakfast tacos this morning for the first time since I've been back. Good Lord, I missed chorizo!

I don't understand the trend of putting bacon on everything. It is not even as good as everyone says it is in and of itself.

Maybe my taste buds just aren't that accustomed to garlic (I don't eat it very often). It tasted pretty strong to me.
Make sure you're not substituting garlic salt for garlic powder and vice versa

Eating large amounts of meat will dull one's sense of taste and smell drastically.
Bacon in America:
Worst cut of meat, 50%+ fat, dry, over cooked, crispy and tasteless.
Bacon in Australia:
Decent piece of meat with far less far, juicy moist and full of bacon flavour.

That bacon looks like it came off a mcgriddle. That's not what homecooked bacon looks like. Unless you live in mcdonalds.
Um, pork belly is by far the best cut of pork you can possibly get. As for how its cooked, well that obviously depends on the person. Have you ever had pork belly? Tasteless and dry? Either you're doing it wrong or whoever cooked it is doing it wrong.

All the bacon i've had in America has been like that. Really fucking difficult to get any other cut in the supermarket other than streaky bacon. You cook it, and it halves in size.
