So, I was playing with all these guys who were about two or three ranks above me, and I got killed so much. I died 50 something times that round and my low kill/death ratio ( I play medic) has sunken even lower. What I'm saying is: I need help.

I faulter in combat situations so, I need some help on staying alive and just using the assult kit to its best advantages. Thanks.
well, man, don't just run towards the enemy in the open! Play smart! WHen shooting, always lay down on the ground, you'll be much more accurate this way!!

Thanks, guys. But I would like to know, what guns do you guys use? I' trying out the f2000  but I can't hit anything with it.
Ok dood its simple, first up drop all your settings to low, dont care what card you have just do it. View distance as high as possible. Now slow your mouse down, your having problems hitting your targets because your mouse speed is too high. Once you have done the two load a co-op game or single player game with bots. Now try and only shoot the buggers in the neck/head, take your time to aim, slowly you aim speed will increase, dont speed your mouse up when it does, just move to public play and try and do the same thing. It will also help if you take your time before deciding were and when you fight. Join the game check the map out and try and enter the battle from the side, look for your targets and dont get greedy if you see three enemy just work on getting the one kill first, in time you will learn how to multikill.

find a server with n00bs on or learn to gun in a chopper or fly a j10
You have to learn the rules of the game and then you have to play better than anyone else.

If you play medic alot then heres something, the AK-101 can kill up to 3 people with one mag. It can snipe its that accurate, it can kill unarmored guys in 3 shots and armored in 4 so its better than the G3 so is the AK-47 but its less accurate, use them, learn them, kick ass with them. And dont worry, we all have bad rounds.

I personally play assault more than anything, and use default weapons more than anything....for most classes.  The sniper i usually use the L96, and spec ops usually use G##.  But normally im using the M16, or one of the AKs.  Single shot can be your friend, if you are trying to shoot at a reasonable distance, and even in close range if you can click the mouse button fast enough.  Knowing how each of the rifles shoots is helpful, try opening your own game, or join an empty server, and stand different distances away from a wall and shoot at it.  This will help you see how the gun shoots, to improve your accuracy a bit.  My accuracy avg is only like 20% sadly lol, but youll be able to see how the gun shoots via the dust that comes off the wall.  Hope this helps, it helped me in other games.

Practise against n00bs.
what he said, also choose a server that isnt a 64 man on 64 map, start low and get to know the maps well and spawn points ect then go into the larger maps or if you are going to use the large maps ,DONT rush in like rambo, follow your uav when possible and stay back and shoot from a distance.

medic guns have a good accuracy at distance

Being medic doesn't mean you have to have a < 1 k:d ratio.  I am almost exactly even at 1.0209 (6359 kills / 6229 deaths).  There are a couple things you could practice to help yourself out.

First, remember that your medic bags heal you as well, don't just toss them ALL away for others.  Hold one in reserve for yourself.  Medic doesn't have armor, but the med packs are even more helpful if you pay attention and use them.  If you're running from flag to flag and aren't 100%, run with the bag in hand.  If you're prone somewhere capping a flag by yourself, look straight down at the ground and drop 2 packs underneath yourself.  If someone sneaks up on you and starts shooting, you will get a couple of 'free' shots because you'll instantly heal yourself.

Second, always look around and kill enemies before reviving.  Typically, even if a team mate dies, he got a few good shots into his opponent and you could probably finish him off with a single shot from a pistol.  Take him out first and then revive, not before.

As for guns, I find it hard to beat the G36E.  The 3-shot burtst forces you to have better accuracy than a full-auto because fully-auto gets more and more inaccurate with each shot.  Those 3 shots are in a pretty tight pattern.

And finally, remember that you don't have armor, so as mad scotsman said, don't go bustin' up in the house like Rambo.  The G36E is deadly at pretty long ranges so take advantage of that.

Most importantly though... HAVE FUN!
