I would but i don't play enough per day to be in one. (full time job, full time g/f)
I am in the same guild/clan since 2001... I know all of the guildmates in RL (we meet 2-3 times a year for a weekend full of BBQ and beer).

I would love to be in a clan but as I mentioned a while back, because of my stupid name, everyone thinks I already am in the 'LSD' clan and my name is Wash. (It's AcidWash, damnit! Heh) Anyway, I have never had more fun playing video games than I did in my 6+ years of playing in a Quake 2/3 clan a while back. I love getting teamplay super organized and learning people's strength and weaknesses. And getting the groove with the same people can be super rewarding. So, yes! Yes! 100 times yes!

I play with a group of military vets (one myself and we're not all marines) but we gave up the whole competition thing. We just play for fun now. It's so much better than playing with whining kids.

yeah clans are awesome, cause u work better in a team, and you can increase gameplay enjoyment
love being in a clan and have been part of the same team now for 4 years through rtcw/et/css/all cods and now bf2 .like said in another post we meet up every 3 months for a beer and pizza and a night out on the town.Plus some are real good with comps and help me out with anything i need .Also it helps you progress as a player.
