when i installed the patch, i started up the game and tryed to connect to my account, i waited about 2 minutes and it says could not connect to socket or something, i tryed twice

any one else have this problem or know how to fix fit it,??

Your post is a little vague and should realistically go in the help section.

have you a firewall? did you configure t to allow BF2 to access the net? (because the exe has changed with patching)
