While doing my regular dive into the workings of BF2 (i'm interested in seeing what makes these things tick)
I found This tune right here..

I do believe it could be the map loading tune for the Armored Fury Maps:
Operation Harvest
Operation Road Rage
and Midnight Sun

...Weird music. Some of it's good, some of it's ish, and some of it's just sound clips of "Hit it!" "I need a medic over here!" etc.

it could be.. you're right..
but then it'd be in the videos directory..
and it wasn't..

although with some of the sound clips i've been finding.. we've got a LOT in store in the way of new features coming out

(these could also be Beta features taken out already.. i'm trying to get them working in a mod )

Sounds more like Battlefield 1914 to me.
I like the Battlefield theme - definatly one of the best video-game-related compositions, although honestly I don't know a lot of other ones.
I think it was LSD_Wash who wrote a pretty sweet version of the battlefield theme, hang on I'll try to find it again:
