Apparently my system can't tolerate McDonald's very well anymore after going a month or so without eating it. Kind of a good thing and kind of a bad thing
mostly a good thing.
People love to exaggerate how sick fast food makes them.
Totally...
Had McDonald's for the first time in months yesterday. Gave me bad gas.

Never felt "throw up" sick, but a lack of energy, greasy, and un-motivated.RTHKI wrote:

Actually, come to think of it, I did grab some MacDonalds before a bike ride once and almost threw up.
I think you're exaggerating, Whiteroom.
Totally, I actually feel just as good as I do when I eat a nice healthy meal.
Packet of kimbap > mcd's any day.
If your body can't handle a big mac then you should see a doctor.
If your body is perfectly fine with fast food then you could be eating too much of it.
Yes there is clearly something wrong when your body doesn't react violently to food.
I still think people exaggerate how sick McDonalds makes them. I think people rather just say how sick it makes them (or maybe they found a way to make themselves feel sick for eating it rather than actually being sick biologically) rather than just saying they don't eat McDs because it is poor people food and they think they are too good for it.

Oh man. The amount of nonsense you have been spewing lately. Are you still off your meds?
Clearly you don't partake in any activites that a physically strenuous, otherwise you would know how much eating fast food vs. Good healthy food effects you.Macbeth wrote:

The only people I have ever heard say they get sick from fast food are health nuts and status conscience middle and upper middle income people. McDonald's isn't that bad for you. Your body shouldn't be going to lockdown mode after having a big mac. If it is you either have health issues or are making yourself sick mentally.
If you haven't ate anything fatty or oily in a long time you think it won't be a shock to your system? it's like being a non-spicy food eater eating legit indian curry, theyre going to piss out of their ass.Macbeth wrote:

speaking of this, i get the shits when i eat too much fried chicken.
All I say to the exaggeration claims is that I've had diarrhea all morning today, not to mention generally feeling like shit last night after I ate it
If you haven't had fast food in a while, it will definitely make you feel worse than it ever did. I never expected to feel this bad after eating McDonald's. Burger King has also been giving me stomach aches whenever my dad gets it. Chic-Fil-A seems to be the only fast food I can still eat without feeling shitty now

mcdonalds is pretty terrible for you. the problem isn't one burger every now and then - that's moderation, and the body is versatile enough to chrew it up, agree. the problem, which typically does arise in lower-income or lower-educated people, is one of serious and consistent poor eating, and hence malnutrition. people who have fast-food or take-away 2-3 times a week. people who'll go to mcd's every morning for their 'breakfast menu'. this is extremely bad for you. whiteroom is correct: the difference in personal 'energy' and verve compared to when you eat well, and when you let yourself slip and eat a load of shit... is unreal.Macbeth wrote:

roc we all know you're making out you don't like fast-food because it's part of your pathological race-denial. you and macb should go out for dinner sometime. together you'd make the palest couple at white castle.

I just can't eat anything from McDonald except the fries and drinks anymore, makes me feel sick.
Plus, 1 liter buckets with free refill of sugar water are bad.
