I've just started tooling with the dedicated server .exe, and found the UseGlobalUnlocks line, which gives you weapons you've earned...cool stuff, but...

How do I make it so that every player can use ALL the unlocks, like some unranked servers do online? Thanks in advance!

there is no way to use global unlocks on unranked servers atm.

actually, i think it's possible to use all unlocks, even if you haven't unlocked them (and on a ranked server). IDK how it happened, i just joined a ranked server several months prior and was able to use an unlock, except the one's id already unlocked. (I was a mere PFC, so no biggie). WTF?!?!!?! UNexplainable, but yes, you can do it

Yes, that's exactly what I'm trying to ask here! I'd like to know how to run servers the way that some unranked servers do, where every player has the little button on the 7 classes to alternate between all the unlocks. If there's any way to extend this knowledge to Co-op, please share that too! ;D

I've been trying to sort this out for my clan server lately.

From what I've read part of the unannounced changes for 1.3 was to change the way unlocks are allowed, I assume to stop unranked servers from having unlocks. Apparently at the moment unlocks are not possible with 1.3 unranked servers.

Rumour has it that the code changes are responsible for the 30 second connection problems and server crashes.

I don't think of the 30 second freezes as bugs. They seem more like reserved space for an ad break to be implemented in the future, when EA's revenue stream from BF2 sales dries up completely.
