I had some problems with getting Veteran Knife Badge.

I was playing on WAR IS HELL BEST OF BF2 server (IP: 70.86.207.155) and I was trying to get 50 kills with knife. Ok... I got 50 kills and +5 kills more (so now I have 55 global kills with knife). But I didn't got Veteran Knife Badge (I know that I need only 50 global kills and NO IAR kills now to get this badge). Is this bug? Or shall I to try to play in official EA BF2 server?

Thanks for help...

P.S. If you got Veteran Knife Badge whit 1.3 patch, write down what you had done?

How's it going?

I actually got my Veteran Knife before the patch, and then got Expert when the patch came out.

Still, as a general rule I've found that for badges/medals/ribbons that have global requirements (i.e. not just IAR requirements), you need to:

1. Fulfil the global requirements (in your case, 50 knife kills)
2. Log out, and maybe even close the game down
3. Wait for the stats server to update (you can monitor it with bf2player.com - the stats update quicker than bf2s.com)
4. Log back in, join a game and get the IAR requirements (if there are any - in your case there aren't).

So hopefully you'll soon be admiring that oddly-shaped shiny silver badge.

And as an English teacher, I can say don't worry about your English; your writing is better than 99% of the people who post on this forum, and most of them are native speakers!

u have to get all the kills and then start a new round--it should give it to u a few secinds after u start

Ahh... ok... thanks I got it when I joined the game later
