well sinse 1.3 my loading times have taken about 10 mins per map now, and now when i finially load one it crashes back to my desktop....wll fuck you ea, fuck you! this has completly ruined BF2 for me, i have spent about 3 hours today loading servers, why cant they just bring out a patch to fix all the bugs, no new vehicle drops, none of that crap, they're are completly missing the things they need to fix

From what I'm reading elsewhere, if you're having problems with the patch and you did the incremental, then start over from scratch, use the FULL 1.3 patch and you shouldn't see a lot of the problems as far as CTD's and other random issues that a lot of folks are having.

Why the hell does everyone blame EA on this game? They're just the publisher, they barely touch the game. It should be "omfg fuk u dice!111."
these crashes are part of the unstability of windows, trying bitching at bill gates first.....
It's actually both EA and Dice's fault. It's Dice's fault because, well, they mainly code the game, and it's EA's fault because they pressure Dice into making releases more quickly, therefore leaving some bugs that have not been accounted for. :\

If It's a Windows problem why did none of have all of these problems before patch 1.3? EA/Dice should have tested it to make sure it was suitable for release. But as always, "we" the public are left to do the beta testing and EA/Dice can just have a look at a couple of forums and start to fix it when they feel like....
You should try to manually update Punkbuster, that helped me a lot. Since I updated I had no single CTD again.

No, not just that html-file. You have to run pbsetup.exe, on my machine it said "BF2 has to be updated" and that's what it did... ;-)david363 wrote:
