BF2S Forums What kind of people play BF2 ?

Im single, male, 38, and live in the New England, USA. (Feels like a dating service ad) Been around the US some and did a tour in the USAF 1985-87 as a morse system operator. Presently working overnights as a master control operator at a tv station. Favorite cities: Philadelphia and Honululu. Also like SOCOM and RTS games. So many games, so little time. Love WWII era in general and think I may have spent a past life then.

Thats about it in a nutshell.

I am 36 married with my lovely wife of 42 and have 3 daughters (15, 16 and 22) who are from a previous marriage from my wife's side. We are married now for 11 years and i work at a big insurance company in The Netherlands. I live in the city of The Hague and am a big fan of my favourite footballclub Den Haag.

i'm 15, and live in auckland new zealand, a country of 4 million in the south pacific ocean (no, it isnt next to denmark.) one in four people in my country lives in auckland, and we have the biggest ports, the biggest airport, the most tourism and the tallest buildings, so everyone else in the country hates us. 'jafa' is a name given to auckland citizens- it stands for 'just another f***ing aucklander'
i attend takapuna grammar school and play BF2 on the weekends with my friend (his nick is 'surfpro'). i dont consider myself very good, probably because i don't practice much. its taken me more than 2 months to get my 15 engineer hours so hopefully i'll get a silver badge soon.

24, UK, Web Administrator for a cruise line. Just graduated with a 2:1 from Uni (graduation today, in fact!).

i'm 18 i used to work at a large grocery store chain untill i got fired for being hammered, never graduated highschool.... soon to join the california conseravtion corps (signing up in week when it's time for my appointment ) and several months after all of that paid PT i plan on joing the marines.So soon to be no more BF2 for a long long while been 5150'ed ( a 72 hour involuntary hold in a mental institution) due to my mother which we dont even speak for year long periods unless something happens like my grandpa died a couple of months ago that was the last time...anyways it's like therapy haha

You mean there are no Kangaroos in Austria?  When I was stationed in Germany in the mid-eighties I rememberd seeing an Oestereicherin(sp?) wearing a T-Shirt that said: "Austria: We don't have Kangaroos" and I thought it was hilarious.  Silly Americans...

Anyway, I'm in the U.S. Army, where I've been since graduating high school in 1983.  Been all over the world and loved Europe (before the wall came down when we were still liked), wasn't overly impressed with Korea, and the Middle East, well, if I lived there I'd be pissed off at the world too.

I'm currently in an undisclosed location in Baghdad, "bringing democracy to the Iraqi people."  I will say that a vast majority of them are good decent people and I hate to see children suffer, which they were under the Baath Party and are under the insurgency...

Happily married with a 17 year old daughter.  I think she's finally coming out of her "terrible teens" thank the gods.

When I'm home, my biggest enjoyment is gaming online with just about any game.  I was playing Call of Duty: United Offensive up until I deployed.  I'm really looking forward to meeting (and hopefully beating) you guys online when I finally get home.

Wassup...I'm 16 and I play BF2 in my spare time (not too much) seeing as I go to a prep school in NC. I'm okay at BF2 but I find that I'm better at more realistic FPS like Call of Duty (I really own there). I plan on going to get a PhD in biochemistry as I'm rather skilled in that area...so that's all for now.

15 (almost 16) y/o. Live in holland, the hague. Marital status, err, have a girlfriend for somewhat a year now. Got a weird twitch in my eye cus of playin this darn game too much. Hobbies are ofcourse BF2, my g/f and smoking the occasional pot.

And I am SURPRISED at how many people aged above 19 play BF2 in the USA! Dear lord you wont see that here in Holland. Gratz 2 u guys Keep on the gaming, your an rolemodel for me!

36, married with 3 kids (twin boys age 6, daughter 11, one of my boys is a killer on the xbox, played BF2 at one of LANs, not good but someday...)

work for the provincial guvmint as a Radio Comms Tech (basically electronics tech) we provide communications for the north half of the province via land based mobile radios/handhelds and mountaintop radio repeaters so lots of helo time in order to maintain them ( i don't fly them, just passenger) 
also worked as a doorman/bouncer for about 8-9 years at the one and only bar/nightclub we have...

I'm a 17 year old, white male. I live in Florida, USA(I hate this place) and I go to college locally to get my Associates degree in Electronics Technology... although I'm thinking about changing to Network Administration/hardware. and whatever time I don't spend at school or sleeping.. I spend it playing BF2.
I'm a quite boring person.. not much to tell.

I am a 22 year old man from saxony in germany.
I have wasted my youth with beeing a dealer and a drug addict.
I should have gone to jail more then one times, but my lawyer served me from this.
Now I am free on probation and increased my life to playing shooters online and working as a CNC-programmer for precision mill-systems.
