That helps with certain yacht clubs. Others are open to anyone really. It's just a clubhouse with a dock and some mooring rights.

Well, let's see... I worked at a yacht club for three summers. I live on an island, and I have friends and parents of friends who are members at multiple yacht clubs. The fact that you guys keep bringing it up like it's a big deal just kind of makes me chuckle and feel sorry for how yokel you are. It's a nice place to go if you want to avoid being stuck in a social situation where you actually have to converse with someone of say... Puerto Rican descent... Being wealthy is not a requirement.

i remember picking lolita up and being totally disgusted right away. complex character and beauty of the writing my ass. never touching that shit again.
