The gym I go to has its own music system so it dosent bother me
I'm actually kind of with you. I don't really care if it's 'pure' athleticism; I just go for the show. If that means harder hits, higher jumps, and faster runs then I'm fine with a little more entertainment value.
Claims that it's damaging to athletes' bodies and that it will spawn a culture of steroid use don't bother me. You get paid 1million a year to play a game? Consider it a danger pay premium.
