Congrats! Any relocating required or is it close to where you live now?

No relocation needed. My commute will be about 45min one way with traffic. I'm really hoping I can find someone to carpool with just to cut the cost of gas a little. Even with the cost of gas I'll be making more now than I did at my old job.

You know, every time I watch a show like Love It or List It, or House Hunters and some person from Toronto is crying about a commute of 20 minutes to work I die a little inside. What's with the ravines too? Every house seems to have a ravine in the backyard.

20min withot traffic on one of our busiest highways is more like 45min with traffic.

The ravine thing is a design feature most planned communities incorporate. You're looking at the water reservoir for the neighborhood. We do have hilly topography in Toronto as you move into the suburbs, but 90% of it is reservoirs.

Just found somone to carpool with. Another student who was given a job in the Planning department for the same municipality. Yippe, just saved 100$ a month.
