i find once you force yourself to eat healthy for a while, your tastebuds come back around to more subtle, muted flavours. you can really get into the flavour of a raw carrot. these things aren't absolutely tasteless (unless you're one of those hyper-health dudes who only eat water and oatmeal and several plain portions of chicken breast a day...) in general, having shitloads of sugar and salt in everything gives you about as much taste refinement as a pig in muck.
