lack of internet communication can be a serious detriment to people's lives since everything's so interconnected these days. have fun trying to run a business without internet.SuperJail Warden wrote:

While we are on the subject, 18mbs good?
What small towns don't have business'? Internet makes everyones lives much much much easier and getting access to the digital economy helps people quite a bit, that's why there's a push for a national broadband network here in aus that got killed by the current gov.KEN-JENNINGS wrote:

i don't have a facebook. I probably use amazon once a month at most. No netflix either. I don't rely on the internet nearly as much as you seem to think. The biggest detriment would obviously be in my workplace and video games.Cybargs wrote:

Dear ŠKODA customer,
We regret to inform you that the Type EA 189 engine built into your vehicle with the Vehicle Identification you submitted, is affected by software that may cause discrepancies in the values for oxides of nitrogen (NOx) during dynometer runs. Your car is safe from a technical standpoint and roadworthy.
We are very sorry to have broken your trust and are working at full speed to find a technical solution. ŠKODA will cover the cost relating directly to this repair.
We will be in touch with you directly to explain what steps are required. We'll do any necessary rectification work at our cost.
Yours faithfully,
ŠKODA.
325,000 VWs have a first-generation 2.0-liter diesel, code-named EA189. To make them compliant with emissions requires both software and hardware repairs. That might mean the addition of a urea injection (AdBlue) system.
90,000 VWs have a second-generation diesel engine.
67,000 VWs, 2015 models, have a third-generation diesel. It runs cleaner and may need only a software fix.
