Have you read the poems by Nostradamus? The book with all of his poems was on sale over 10 years ago and I got it. I managed to find one "prophecy connection" to historical events that hadn't been pointed out previously. It's funny how you want to find something in them... There were some prophecies in there from a few others too and they were direct unlike Michel's who wrote them in poems.

i didn't know nostradamus wrote poetry and i wouldn't be inclined to read them. are they good? or is it just the usual schtick of seeing what he may or may not have predicted. i agree with your point that you can read a lot of bullshit into anything if you approach it with enough presentiment and presumption.

I'm not that into poems so I'm not sure about the good/bad. A lot of them were a bit... odd and spooky. At least compared to what I randomly read in a newspaper or some jolly post on FB. All of his "prophecies" were written as poems. Due to his head being chopped off in a guillotine because of witchcraft if he had said he can tell the future. So yeah. Usual schtick may be closer. Good for one read at least.

Earned over $1k at work yesterday, went to the beach today, had a very uneventful tinder date tonight but she was a nice girl from Kent who has only been in Aus for a month and lives on the same fucking street, so weird. And now I'm drinking wine and eat cheese. Also booking flights to Europe on Sunday, and summer is well and truly on the way if not here already. Life is looking good

Stay away is my advice. We get a metric assload of rich Asian girls looking for Canadian men to marry so they can stay in the country and eventually bring over their families. In my experience (and as a very unfairly broad characterization) they are extremely jealous and controlling types with a good streak of crazy in them.

EDIT - in reading this over it sounds like a very callous and borderline racist thing to say...I just mean that the super rich Asian girls I would meet in university really had no interest in some barely lower tier upper-class Canadian boy. They always either wanted something out of it (apart from a relationship), or were trying to make a point to someone else.
