Stay away is my advice. We get a metric assload of rich Asian girls looking for Canadian men to marry so they can stay in the country and eventually bring over their families. In my experience (and as a very unfairly broad characterization) they are extremely jealous and controlling types with a good streak of crazy in them.

EDIT - in reading this over it sounds like a very callous and borderline racist thing to say...I just mean that the super rich Asian girls I would meet in university really had no interest in some barely lower tier upper-class Canadian boy. They always either wanted something out of it (apart from a relationship), or were trying to make a point to someone else.

she's from Hong Kong, she was sent over here to board at one of our posh English schools from a young age, so she's pretty native. shes into me because she values intellectuals and thinks it's hot. it's not like she's chasing money because I've said from the start I want to go into academia. I am not taking her out to nice restaurants and fronting that 'climb the social ladder' game. she likes that I talk art and culture. so far, so good.

her dad is a fur dealer and mega rich, and he hates white and blacks with equal measure. go figure. but her parents are also divorced and her dad has had hardly any involvement or emotional sway in her life, other than paying the bills. with that said, I'm here for a weekend with a smoking hot Asian body and some fun, not a life partner or a visa application. she gave me givenchy towels to take a shower with today and she bought me champagne at lunch. the sex is also incredible. worth it would bang again.

also just to clarify again: I'm posting this here because it's an unbelievable story, a stroke of random WTF, not because I'm in love or serious. this girl approached me out of nowhere, invited me as a stranger to stay with her for the weekend, treated me like royalty and is basically crazy about me. I've done next to nothing in terms of work or emotional investment. I've never had an Asian girl openly approach me before – the international student types here tend to be extremely insular, shy, and cliquey, to the point of never speaking to or socialising with the natives – and this girl was confident as hell and knows what she likes and what she wants, i.e. little old uziquey. objectively she's an amazing catch, no? looks and the right background. I'm just laughing in disbelief. I am not hunkering down for the longterm or for serious emotional involvement. the story is just kinda too incredible to be true. I don't post here whenever I have a sexual conquest or romantic experience. this one is just a great anecdote.

Good luck, don't fuck it up though, Chinese parents are superprotective. They aren't like your English families, one child goes to London, one to the colonies and one can go their own way - hopefully one will come good.

No one child policy in Hong Kong. I bet her dad is the type that hates white people but still sends his daughter to the UK because he believes British society is still superior in many ways. As Zique said I doubt the chick cares what her dad thinks, shes already banging a gweilo. I bet the mom is telling her to pop kids soon so she can hold adorable grand children.

and wtf macbeth, Chinese women are generally known to be super submissive and less likely to cheat. They have a huge amount of crazy jealousy issues and adultery amongst women is a huge no no.

Chinese-American women are corrupted by feminism and unshackled from Christianity and thousands of years of its influence. To make things worse, their experience in the wealthy west makes them look down upon their poverty stricken cultural heritage.

At least an Irish or Italian American girl has a deep-seated fear of hell and desire not to disappoint God. I would highly recommend settling with a well raised and adjusted one of those.
