I doubt this was from EA considering they did not envision anything with BF2, they simply bought the rights to distribute the game. If it did come from EA then so what, I don't think you understand how this whole thing works. A company produces a videogame according to their vision of what that video game should be. You, the consumer, have no say in that video game. The only power you have is to choose whether or not to support it by purchasing and playing the game, that's it. You and the 10,999 other people who signed some internet petition do not have the right to tell them how to make the game.
