Anyone here into Final Fantasy? They have been porting them onto the PC lately and releasing them to Steam. They just announced that they are going to bring FF9 onto the PC from the original PS1 in the year 2000. Never got to play FF9 but I have heard very good things.
I might consider playing it if they include good controller support. I really wanted to play Final Fantasy VIII again on PC but the controls sucked on the new port.
Still never played VII believe it or not, I'm just gonna wait for the remake to come out. I'll be sorely disappointed if Mr. T doesn't voice the black guy

ok, ill give you KotoR. Although it's biggest flaw was the fact it was obviously designed for controllers. Obnoxious way to select characters and queue up attacks not to mention the absolutely dreadful menu and inventory systems. It would have been a far better experience with a proper UI and maybe they could have added some much needed depth to your characters growth.
anyone going to sign up for Origin Access? It intrigues me a little bit but you only get access to 15 full games right now. I've more or less sworn off EA but if I can play some games for $5/month I might be tempted to try it out. I'm sure I'll end up disappointed though

To me, this sounds like they have reached the final step in profit maximization.
I only play the Battlefield franchise from EA, where I got cheap pre-order deals for BC2, BF3 and BF4.
Together with the Premium packages of the DLCs, it's still cheaper for over the whole time period I played and still play those games.
Also, I got the less successful BF Hardline ~37% cheaper after a few months during an Origin deal that was stackable with a rebate code from EA Help.
