SJWs have opened the door and howled down anyone who disagrees with their radical agenda.
Free speech has been ended, and ironically the door has been opened to people whose views are the antipathy of the views of the SJWs.
Its their ending of rational debate which is the key thing they have done.

I'm happy to trace this back to the Jews again - post WW2 anyone who disagreed with them and their racist bigotry was a Nazi who wasn't allowed an opinion and could be howled down, now anyone who doesn't agree with a SJW's bigotry is a nazi/racist/fascist/capitalist/whatever and isn't allowed an opinion.

I'm glad you ass-clowns are both coming around to my way of thinking at least.

I am not coming around to your way of thinking at all. I just said the SJW complaints are mainly paranoia and usually bad faith.

Yeah you are,
The bad form of multiculturalism is the type that starts to give out rights and privileges to groups for the sake of maintaining their culture. One big one that angers me is Sharia courts for civil cases and in arbitration. Other smaller types are things like preventing gay clubs to open near a Jewish temple or Jewish police patrols.
also Jewish Police patrols, I had look that one up, holy shit.

that's the liberal line, centrist, not left wing. the left is avowedly secular. tolerance and pluralism are tenets of liberalism. it's weird how you get these partly cogent ideas and make them crackpot polemics against imaginary groups.
Here in America, they belong to the same Democratic tent and the tenets have become planks in the progressive cause. Multiculturalism is academic orthodoxy, hence left wing.

But left wing / right wing is not the same thing as Democrat / Republican. It's more complicated than that.

Your last post was complaining about SJW. That's what I thought you meant.

Linking Jews to American multiculturalism isn't that crazy. After WW2, the U.S. got a large influx of Jewish people who moved into media and law. They started organizations like the Southern Poverty Law Center and gave help to other groups like LULAC and the NAACP. They saw American racist as the same type of people who put their families in ovens and sympathized with blacks and others who were being targeted since they are next up on the menu eventually in their eyes. Of course Dilbert is holding that against them while I think it is something that the Jewish community should be exalted for.

As I said before, I think the SJW craze is mainly a reaction against right wing American culture. A lot of the people who complain the most like the Tea Party groups and Trumpist brought it on themselves.

Probably you're right

It goes beyond that, it seems more about bigots wanting to shout people down and looking for any vehicle to jump onto to achieve it.

So French cities are banning women going to the beach dressed like this.

I understand why the French are doing this. In order to stop their culture from becoming like Saudi Arabia where women are told what they can wear, they need to pass laws telling women what they could wear.

I understand that it is used as a shield to defend codified bigotry towards Muslims and Sikhs. No one ever had a problem with people wearing crosses around their neck but once the Muslim population wanted to dress a certain way, laws starting being put up. From what I have read, chain crosses are still considered fine in many schools. It's also interesting how France prides itself on secularism but recognizes Christmas and Easter as official holidays.

It is funny how much Europeans rag on the U.S. about being backwards but we have stronger protections against religious bigotry and a lack of laws specifically targeting groups.

Those 'protections' are used by the religious and other bigots to further their cause, having laws which bar all religious intrusion are much better IMO.

Yeah? How does that work exactly? Are you saying that laws which bar religious intrusion force people to abandon their morals and beliefs which are religion-based whilst governing? Seems implausible. Our system breeds honesty.
