yeah i just saw a preview for it on the plane. Looked like Hugh Laurie is playing the same character as in House but dressed up differently.
Pretty sure House isn't about an arms dealer.

Anyone watched the Young Pope? It is currently running on HBO but was released in Europe months ago. You can torrent the entire season.

GOT just had their highest rated season premiere ever. The cold open was pretty good.
still can't get behind GoT. I marathoned the first 2 seasons a few weeks ago and stuck through it for the simple reason everyone and their slut moms love the show, but I just can't stick with it.

i read synopsis of the books and they sound stupid.
There are some good things in the show I like better than the books. People go on about the Dorne plot in the books, I personally was bored with the Dorne plot and glad that was cut out in the show. Could have been handled better, but still happy they got rid of that.AussieReaper wrote:

Instead we get bad poosy and sand shits that add no value. They even ruined the character motivation of them by having them murder Doran and his family.

I am starting to not like this new season. The whole plot feels sped up in a bad way to give Cersei more of a chance. You can tell it is written by movie people who need a story arc that takes up a whole season. Armies and people are teleporting across the world, Euron seems to have developed a radar system, and everyone is just sitting around waiting to get killed. I mean it looks like the Reach didn't even prepare for war or mobilize. Same with Dorne. The Reach is supposed to be the richest and most populous part of the 7 kingdoms and they just sat back and waited for Danny's orders for months?

That would have all been fine if we had two full final seasons. It is not like HBO is hurting for money. How much would it have cost to have more scenes of people in rooms talking about what is going on in the world? We lost almost a whole season when they slashed 6 episodes because reasons.
