I gave one of my parent's dogs rat pellets mixed with spaghetti. It has been 4 hours and the dog shows no signs of discomfort. I am getting frustrated. How long would it take to work? Honestly, I am not even sure how many pellets he ate. I had to throw the trap spaghetti away when my sister showed up.

No not at all. I am actually pretty excited about the possible outcome since I have hated this dog for years.

I just wanted to share with someone what my latest pet project is. Pun intended.

The dog is still going strong. So I bought some meatballs and am going to put the pellets into the meatballs and try that way.

You should perfect the dosage with people.
If it kills a people then it should be guaranteed to kill a dog.

The mentally ill guy up the road from me has poisoned two dogs so far, a neighbour found him in the crawlspace under her house, he's been threatening staff at the nearby school and stalking single women.

We can't stop him walking around in his underpants yelling at trees but we did manage to get his firearms seized.

Yes frankly, he spent 10 years on a disability pension because he was so disabled he couldn't work, transferred to an aged pension and promptly started a business, not that that went anywhere.

Not sure how much of it is from being a nasty prick and how much from brain damage in a car crash, either way he shouldn't be out and about, bothering kids or sponging off me.
Not sure how he was entitled to dole while living in a million dollar home and running two cars either.

So I have been feeding the dog the pellets with meatballs. He drops about as many pellets as he eats. He has shown no signs of distress yet. Getting frustrated.

I am starting to feel like Wile E. Coyote. This dog is still running around being a dog and I am probably going to end up accidentally poisoning myself.

I'm not a genius, but wouldn't it be easier to take the dog somewhere far far away in your car and leave it there? Like, "oops, the dog ran away." No dead dog for forensics to determine that you poisoned it, no hard feelings, just, "I guess Rover is living somewhere else now"?
