hase anyone noted that when you deploy your parachute then you hit the ground you die its happen to me more than once. has it hapenned to you ?
I always press the button 3 times on the way down.
I smash the button as if it was my own lifeline. Wait a sec, it is!

most of the time i only hit it once and it works... sometimes i get the little icon saying it went up and hear the sound and i go splat...

He said "when you deploy your parachute then you hit the ground you die." So I think he means he dies when his parachute has been deployed already, not his parachute won't open...

I just got out of the Wake map and I pressed the button for parachute like 5 times and nothing happened, it usually opens most of the time but I landed in the water from so high up chopper went as high as he could then got shot down and I ended up ejecting in the water.
I changed a bunch of buttons around a while back.I switched the parachute button to F.Never had a problem since then.

lol - what usually happens to me, is, when I'm low on health, I try to avoid losing health from falls by jumping off the buildings and jamming the 9 button...
By lag usually spikes right before the parachute would open. In two seconds, the screen changes its image to "You were killed, you will respawn in 13 seconds"

Happens if you brush a building or sign on the way down, your parachute folds up and you plummet screaming to the ground.
I've noticed it happening with increased regularity post 1.3. I tend to 'HALO' (opening the chute later rather than sooner) and oft times it just won't deploy. Usually when I have two bars of health left. : /

I actually don't hit the buildings....Strafing along a building, when ur parachute won't open, though, can save you lots of life, ie, when uve already opened your parachute and hit a building, try to stay close to it.broncobullfrog wrote:
