Why do some medals require time?

That is so gay. I have every basic badge and it9combat infanrty medal) requires 250 hours of gametime. I am only at 92 hours. But I clearly have every badge. When I do get 250 hours. I will most likely have all the vets too.

On the medals, I have almost every IAR thing, but not enough time. That is ewird and pointless.... I really really dont like it... but oh well.

What are you guys' thought?s

You are FAR away from having every badge, you barely have any badges at all, and all basic but one, go work some more, my badge collection still isn't perfect and I'm clocking towards 400 hours, not even Sergeant Major yet...

That is what I said, I said I have almost every IAR thing, but not even near time.

I know I am almost no where near having every medal, because of time. And the heli and plane things are a little rediculous IMO. But I dont tihnk the medals should be nerfed... like they were, I want to work for my medals, not given to me...

Yes they have reduced the requirements of the badges by heaps ... next people will want the badges given to them for free ... you've got to earn them mate ....

they do, but back in my lance corp times i had a better awards collection too. all basics and a vet spec ops. that includes all vehicles but jets and helis too

wow join some karkand server and sit your ass on a MG and go make a pp&j. when you come back you will have your basic ground defense badge (a measly 5 minutes on a mg...comeon). the hardest vet badge to get is the armor (100h) its easy for tank whores, but for me, id rather run around on foot.

Don't get me wrong, but i thought you needed to get all the time/cummulative kills before you had to try for the IAR...

If that wasn't clear, hes an example from pre 1.3

Exp Knife badge required something like 300 knife kills, and IAR 18 knife kills.

If my understanding is right, you needed to get the 300 total kills before you could get the 18 round ones....

Someone can correct me if i'm wrong.

And kmal, here is a tip: There are no degrees to something's gayness. Calling anything 'so gay' is actually gay by its own standings. I think a more impressinable opening would have been something like:

- "What the **&%^ *&^ *^ *^ O*&O& *& O& was EA *&^ (*& ^%( (^ (*& thinking?"
- Taking a poll
- "This is retarded"

Basically anything without 'so gay' in it.

get a life 92 hours boy play more before you start to complain 1.3 patch has made a lot more fairer to get
badges

kmal1, the medals recognise sustained effort, not just little bursts of in-a-round brilliance. Suck it up and work hard for a bit longer, and you'll eventually meet the requirements.
