There is no Catholic church abuse scandal without gay people. Catholic priest aren't hurting little girls. They are hurting boys because the gays infiltrated the church.

and yes, certain professions tend to attract pedophiles and others looking to exploit vulnerable people for sex. These professions include priesthood, teachers and athletic coaches. Sometimes pedophiles look for ease of access.

There are a lot of factors that go in to childcare. I wouldn't let sexual orientation stop someone from watching my (non-existent) child, all other things being equal.
I understand that being gay doesn't automatically make a person some sort of sexual deviant or pedophile or someone of unsound moral character by default, just like it doesn't automatically disqualify them from having terrible fashion taste or a strong grip. It would serve you well to one day come to the same understanding.

It's Pride month. I didn't start this month. Every time I have to acknowledge that or deal with it, I am going to talk about how I feel. This is way worse than black history month. It's like black history month but with endless parades, t.v. announcements, tshirts, corporate branding and advertisement. This is way more aggressive than black history month ever was.
