You want nobody to play bf2 on that day?

Firstly this will never work, simply for the reason there are people who do enjoy the game and can have fun even if the latest patch does make things "harder"

Secondly what would happen if EA/Dice turned around and said Fuck the lot of you and simply closed down all battlefield 2 servers, now what would you do? can you honestly say that you would be happy? youve got nothing to complain about because you have whined so much that you cant play the game online anymore? What other game offers you the teamwork, graphics, excitement and varied play?

Think about it, yes the game has its faults but the game is far from rubbish.

What does everyone think?

True true... But I can't even play the game anymore because EA/Dice decided to fuck the whole game up with 1.3. This should not happen with a patch. On top of that EA has yet to even acknowledge that the patch needs to be fixed. All I have seen is the Server browser issue being talked about by EA.

HOW ABOUT EA FIXES THE GOD DAMN PATCH SO I DON'T HAVE AN 800 PING WHEN I GO INTO A SERVER. SO I CAN PLAY THE DAMN GAME I PAYED FOR.

FUCK EA FUCK THEM.

Sorry to sound extreme but it just isn't acceptable for them to total destroy a game with a patch. Whats even better is that I was going to buy 2142 but forget it, if I have to put up with this.

Exactly, the point of a boycott by definition would be to harm EA/Dice, in this case to have the patch changed. If you boycott, it doesn't affect them, they already have your money. The only person you're affecting is yourself.

I bought BF2 in summer last year and I liked it. Then came patch x and y and another patch and this game started to suck. Imagine this: You buy a red car. Its yours. You like driving it. After a year the manufacturer comes and changes the color to pink. Do you say: "Well, pink is also ok, car's still driving. So what..."?

EA should learn that players are customers. If customers give a massive feedback, they should take notice. And thats the main goal of this boykot.

Well, this patch sucks imo. Others like it because its easy to get badges and stuff and they are happy to see that people who practiced a lot have no more advantages. Ok. But next patch the sniper class is taken away because its useless. Would you also agree with such a change? No, you would complain and start a petition and organize a boykot day, wouldnt you?

If you disagree with this boykot, just do. But tolerate this. Play on your official server and everything is fine.
