Finally worked out in itunes how to get unassigned albums assigned to an artist.

what do you mean by unassigned? you mean the album artist field wasn’t filled in?
I just wish I could figure out how to make itunes display the album artwork of a song when I click on it like it used to. not the crappy new-ish version which just displays all the artwork all the time.
On some older albums the artist, writer etc fields are mixed up, or they just have 'mixed' or 'various' so it gets dumped in Compilations.uziq wrote:

modifying all of those fields is a trivial task on itunes.
you can add whatever album artwork you like; no artist-wide artwork though, as far as i know. i think it pulls those from apple music/store.
just select all the songs in an album and go into the info. there's an option to find album artwork (using apple store) or to add your own manually (from your local machine). it's one of the most basic features of any tag editor.
Well, I just remembered the existence of this website after 14 years or so. Sad to see that it's gone!

the ultrawide benQ monitor has paid for itself just in terms of an office work-horse, really. the 'eye care' features have been way more of a benefit to me than the uber-leet gaming 100hz/freesync/latency stuff. the way it auto-adjusts the brightness and colour profile using the front-facing light sensor is *mwah*. i'm considering getting benq's attachable desk lamp for it, as well.

haha. i don't think the colours on this monitor are as good as the 24 dell IPS i've given to my other half. the same-size dell IPS in ultra-wide was nearer £1000 and had no concessions to 'gaming' like high refresh rate. but i'm happy with this benq panel. the overall quality seems very high. it seems as though if you throw enough money at a monitor, you can get a decent chef's selection of features that combines the best of IPS/VA/TN panel.
this my first ever screen that is technically a 'WQHD' panel. it's not entirely clear to me what that is, other than the latest and greatest thing in consumer monitors (OLED notwithstanding). it looks good, even though for most of my working day it's on about 15% brightness.

There are so many of them to account for that the continued use of these letter strings as classification seems a little bullheaded. I stopped using them after SVGA because I thought they were losing their descriptive power.

As an aside, I had a TN (I think it was) 1920 x 1200 screen for the longest time. I'm sure it said "WUXGA" somewhere on the box.
