EA releases patch 1.9 out of the blue. Aka patch joygasm.
We start up the game and login to our accounts in under a second, then we head to the fully new server browser and filter to our delight as thousands of servers fill the screen instantly. We decide to join our new map operation freakin awesome (map size for 1337 people) in under 10 seconds we have loaded the map and 5 seconds later we are ready to join. We join lets say MEC and happily make our way to the run way seeing 5 nice jets on our minimap. A friendly MEC desides to give you a ride to a jet and on the way discussed if you would like to fly first, this former jet whore has been turned happy for what patch joygasm has brought him, he is greatful for everybody universally on any server sharing 5 ping.
Anyway we arrive at the runway and see a dozen of people politely asking who would like to go first, sooner or later you find yourself in it and shooting down a couple of enemy jets and the occasional bomb. You get the occasional reply such as:
"Jolly good shot!"
"Fine piloting skills, Ill get you next time!"
You decide to bail out so others can have a go, and you land on the urban area not far where the battle is taking place. Foolishly you had forgotten to pick a squad, and join squad ninja, you are greeted friendly by an AT, SUP, MED, ASSUALT and the squad leader by voip. You are then given some orders which you follow for the sake of your teamwork, so you and your squad head your way through the really big map killing US along the way with the occasional chatter from the commander asking if you would like anything? Long story short you just about win the round by 1 ticket. A fury of:
"Excellent game chaps"
"Good Game friends"
"Close game!"
"Ill get you next time"
You switch of your computer realising that the game was a lot smoother, everyone had a laugh and there was no bug in sight. You think "truly bf2 is a utopia"
2 years later bf2 has continued to expand freely without any new expansion packs from EA and bf2 is declared president of the world. Then you had tacos.
