How much of a fuck up does a girl have to be for you not to date her?

Would you date a recovered drug addict? A single mom? A girl without a college degree? Poor? Some combo of the aforementioned?

Now I know what you are thinking: "Macbeth who are you to call anyone a fuck up?" Excellent point. I am batty but I also look good on paper.

So please answer my question.

i wouldn't date any of the above, more so because it's not my taste or inclination to take on someone else's kids, date someone who couldn't come out for some drinks or attend a wedding, or to date someone with whom i have little in common.

i think a more valid question, rather than labelling someone a 'fuck up', is why you yourself are looking so far out of your ordinary circles for someone to date? i mean, it's normal to meet someone with friends of friends, or education/work, or through having common interests. how often do you meet people in recovery?

Since I still live in my hometown, I keep in touch with the white trash townies I grew up with still stuck here too. I actually have a respectable career and am much better with girls than I was in high school. So I can get a date with a little bit of reminiscing on Facebook messenger. Why don't I date a teacher or someone else in education rather than downtrodden townies? Because the lady teachers I meet are all married or dating cops, the public worker class above them.

This is one of the reasons I am going to become a cop this year. I could finally get a teacher wife.

she comes online like once every two weeks to say something or other, i guess it's hassle accessing a VPN.

she's cute but sort of crazy and there would be major incompatibilities. and i never, ever want to go to china.

plus i have a girlfriend. a normal, happy, sane, successful one, here in england.

i dated a girl with a son. It was ultimately something that contributed to the breakup.

I found it hard to make the transition from "casually dating" to "i'm the guy who is gonna be your dad's replacement". In the end that's not something I wanted to deal with. - but i was open to the idea of it, and I came to my conclusion through trial and error.

That being said, I'm a firm believer in not creating hard limits in what I expect out of a partner. I do think it's important to find someone you are compatible with, and sometimes socioeconomic situations are a factor in that compatibility.

Valentines Day. The happiest or saddest day of the year depending on you. Also interestingly this is the day high school students are most on edge. For obvious reasons.

every one i've had where i'm in a long-term relationship, like now, we both just agree it's no big deal and it's stupid to spend lots of money or make a fuss just because of a calendar date. we continue on with normal weekend plans like any other time of year. maybe a small gift or going out for a meal, but nothing of any consequence.

when i'm single or dating around, it's normally a great excuse to go meet a girl for drinks. or otherwise ... just stay in?

who the hell gets sad about things like this? i can't say i've ever been that lonely in my life.

A lot of people are that lonely. Especially young people that I spend all day lording over. When you are older and better with girls, any day of the week or year can be a hook up. For young people or the lonely this is a big day. I have to say I was one of those sad lonely people when I was a young person. Now things are pretty different and it is a happy day. Probably up there with Christmas.

The kids have a very shallow understanding of relationships so I would probably agree that peer pressure is an important factor. Still whatever age you are positive attention from the other gender (there are only two) feels nice.
