There's options for keeping stuff dry and/or secure on a pickup bed, or keeping the entire bed dry and/or secure. If you don't really need features associated with a pickup, then of course don't get one.
my first car I purchased was a Dodge Dakota pickup. It had a hard cover for the bed with a lock on it. We used to go in to the bed and shut it and get high. Can only imagine what that sounded like from the outside.
I would never buy a dodge.

I think they're also big rodeo sponsors. Not really relevant to the truck, just that pro rodeo's shenanigans are a bit of a pet peeve of mine.

I said baseball was an old person hobby and has low utility. I spent $2000 on Magic the Gathering in the last year. I have no issues with nerd shit.

Like I said it has low utility. At least I can play nerd games with my Magic Cards or tastelessly decorate a home office with my robots.
i think my baseball card collection is worth around $10K or so. Most of the value is in about 20 cards. My sports memorabilia is probably worth $20K. My last purchase was a signed Willy McCovey jersey that I bought off the wall of a bar that was closing down. I offered the guy $200 and he took it on the spot. He was my dad's favorite player growing up. I tried to gift it to my dad and he told me, "Keep it, it will probably be better hanging on your wall than hanging on mine." I was a little sad about that.
I threw away all of my childhood Magic the Gathering cards when I was in a depressive episode in my early 20's. I decided to replace just the stuff I lost (no more then a few hundred dollars. Probably much less) and things got out of hand quickly. I stopped wasting money on Magic and now build Gundams. I have issues with temptation and compulsively buying nerd shit.
you should pray the rosary to help you deal with temptation. That'll be 5 Our Fathers, 2 Hail Marys and 10 Glory Be's. Be a good little Catholic.
Have you ever felt God's presence?
every time my manhood penetrates the warm, wet, pink folds of a vagina it's as if the Lord and Savior himself is giving me a handy.
That explains a lot. The reason why you are a drug addict is because is you didn't surrender to a higher power like they teach in narcotics anonymous that I know you have attended at least once.

Lets see if we get through Covid 19 first.

sunglasses protect your eyes from airborne fluids, duh. it’s all about colour coordinating your shades with your face mask this summer.
i'm completely done with buying expensive sunglasses. I can't keep a pair for more than 6 months.
I've been looking at watches lately. Not a big watch guy, but I need one to wear to formal events/business meetings.
I'd like to stay under $1,000. Any reccos?

i've never worn a watch more expensive than a timex. i have a japanese-timex collaboration now. dirt cheap and very simple.
pretty much for the same reasons. i would only damage or scratch a nice watch on a night out or something.
i tend to look after sunglasses because i get prescription ones, and so need them to actually fucking see. haha.

Also $100 is about my limit for watches, I invariably trash them.
I miss the old Casios but people used them for bomb timers so you can't buy them any more.

I use this watch.
Also known as the gym teacher watch.
I love it. It is small, inconspicuous, and cheap. I can leave one on my desk at work or someplace else without anyone bothering to steal it.
