Hey all, I have already confirmed this with a friend so dont try to *console* me...lmao...

Anyway, when I am flying a jet, I use a mouse as my 'joystick'.  But it doesnt act like a joystick.  Instead it acts like i was aiming an infantryman:

To complete a barrel roll I have to drag the mouse to the side, pick it up, drag it accross again, repeat, repeat, repeat.

To complete a loop I have to drag the mouse to the bottom, pick it up, drag it down again, repeat, repeat, repeat.

Get the picture.  What I have seen and am told should happen is that when you push up on the mouse, it should in effect act like a joystick and cause you to raise the nose and continue raising the nose until you bring the mouse back to the middle of the pad.

I have also tried this with my joystick and it is hopeless, I cant complete any manuver because I can only move the nose about 20 degrees in any direction (excluding yaw).

Does anyone else have this problem, or even know what I am talking about.  A solution would be heaven...

With mouse there's no problem there.... That's how it works

but with joystick it should continue moving if u keep it turned or
twisted or what ever the word is, I dunno

What sensitivity do you have the mouse on? Put it to maximum (10) and you may find it easier. In addition switch the YAW and PITCH sensitivity to maximum too. Let me know if that helps.

Edit: you may find this over sensitive at first but fear not ... you can learn to fly with it and when you do you are as good as another aviator with a joystick
