Anyone ever get a note from a neighbor left on their car? Someone complained about my mom's car taking up too much space when we have a drive way. I wish I knew which car was theirs so I can leave a note in response:
I lived in north london, the neighbour had a tiny driveway and garage, it looked too small to get a Fiat 500 into and was blocked with weeds. There were regularly cars parked across it. One day I parked partially across it and found a note glued to my windscreen telling me not to park there as only they were allowed to block an unusable driveway.
In the same street people paved their front gardens and dropped the kerb so they could park across the front of their house. Once I parked with literally 50mm of my car past the dropped kerb and the woman inside came out ranting and screaming and telling me I was blocking her in and she was going to call the police. I told her to call the police and I'd be at number 23 if they needed me. Later her husband knocked on the door and begged me to move the car so he could get some peace and quiet. He looked dejected and beaten down and a bit of space had opened up ahead so I moved forward about 100mm.
Another place near a friend if anyone parked outside a particular house the owner would tell people they couldn't park outside his house because it made his dog bark.
