I haven't vaped in days. Too busy with work. I set a little work to finish in the morning for those school days so I think my body was focused on getting that shit done instead of practicing being dead.
Fun fact, he caught it in a corn field^
I share an Amazon prime account with my family. My sister's boyfriend is a weeb. She buys him figures for his in her words "gay shit he displays".
Between the Gundam models, Magic the Gathering, and Anime figures, Amazon must really think I am not cool.

They're for you, aren't they?
Fuck Israel
I accidentally shared a confidential document with someone outside our department (still the same organisation, thankfully) by cc'ing the wrong guy who shared the same name as the originally intended recipient. There was a meeting invite in there too.
Instead of mailing back that he was the wrong guy, the dude even joined the call to announce that he probably shouldn't receive this stuff but thought it was very interesting.
I now have to report a security breach.
And he embarrassed the fuck out of me in front of my boss
Kill me now

total douche move on his behalf.
as my name begins with Aa i tend to be near the top of most organization’s contact lists or email directories, so i’ve had this fairly often, especially with calendar or meeting invites. would never occur to me to go and make the person responsible squirm.

Thats a dick move.
One of my managers left a thumb drive with all his private agonising about his divorce in little wordpad files, in a heap of documents and files he asked me to work through.
It was cringeworthy, I wish I'd not returned it, or at least taken a copy. Still not sure if it was deliberate.
Also, at university I somehow got copied in on love letters between two fellow students. They cc'd me once on something then somehow I was auto-cc'd from then on. I told them eventually.

I am surprised they had email when you went to college in the 80's.
I think Larssen is now obligated to plan an intricate revenge with lots of moving parts.
there's a fire about 10 miles away from my house. So far they have only evacuated a small area closest to the fire, and there are about 60,000 homes between my place and where the fire is, but the winds are really picking up right now.
Low on chocolate milk and eggnog, so mixed a glass with the two. Expected it to be utterly gross. Wasn't bad actually.
Please stay safe. I thought you lived in a city by the way?KEN-JENNINGS wrote:

Stores around here start selling it early. I think I've seen some in August before.RTHKI wrote:
I didn't realize people drank eggnog outside of december
Halloween is going to suck so I might as well turn it into a Christmas prequel.

Scary!
Red circle is where I am
The Alton Apartment in Irvine California?
Sorry bbcode doesn't work on mobile. No, I don't live in an apartment anymore. I bought a place.
Irvine is the city though. It's a big one!

It's still weird you are so close to a forest. I live in north Jersey. Not a tree for miles.
Trees are nice to have around. They smell nice and the green is relaxing. A old joke here seemed to be I live in a forest (and occasionally knock spiders out of shoes before putting them on). If you fly a drone you might get that impression (trees are taller than houses and many have one or more), but it's actually well-paved and suburbanized. Lots of national parks in the state though for proper forests.
Lovely.

The "forests" here are generally old live oak, chaparral, and mesquite. Not really the traditional forests one would think of. It's all really, and combined with the local winds that show up this time of year (we had 70mph gusts and 30-40mph consistently all day) It's really a recipe for disaster.
The fire is zero percent contained, so it will burn for at least the next few days. Air quality is very poor

That looks like an allergy attack. It looks like the planet from Alien Covenant.unnamednewbie13 wrote:

This is true Paradise
The Republican campaign for governor here has blamed the spot fires on BLM, antifa, communists and liberal agitators. He's the small town sheriff that went over the court's head and refused to enforce a voter-approved gun law, later comparing it to Rosa Parks and speeding tickets or whatever, and got an award from CSPOA (see Sheriff Mack) for it.
I'm kind of disappointed that the Republicans rolled out a gadfly, because even though I voted for Inslee last time I don't really want him again.

I love how this is sped up because traffic.
