my process of getting to korea is as low risk as possible. 5 laboratory tests? total isolation for 15 days? a final negative test result before i can leave and enter the public?
changing continents is totally irrelevant. how's mexico's health system? compared to south korea's? how many spare hospital beds does mexico have? how common is covid in mexico? 30k cases per day? how likely are you to catch covid and take it back with you? korea has 400 cases a day. how likely am i to catch it and carry it?

lol get serious. nobody is emerging from a 15-day period of total quarantine in korea after taking FIVE tests and then infecting people. do you even know how long the active infection window is for covid carriers? even if someone gets infected on the plane, which is unlikely considering every passenger needs a negative result before boarding, they WOULDN'T be infectious after 15 days. sick still, maybe, but not capable of passing it on.
the 'fucked up strain' is all over europe btw. it has been detected in europe since october. the UK detected it first, that's all. the UK sequences a lot of strains, the highest serology activity in europe. know how many positive covid cases germany bothers to sequence? 1 in 900. go figure.

So I got high and started cleaning. I took apart one of my bookshelves. Dusted. I then rearranged the books in a way I like. Dusted all the other stuff and then centralized all my nerd shit in that corner.

House was built in 1920. Not sure why they thought that was acceptable back then.
My house has that too, built in 1947. I sort of like it because somewhere along the line one of the previous owners did all the work to build closets and built-in storage under the overhang to better use the space. I have an ungodly amount of closet space as a result and don't need free-standing dressers or anything.

Writing a paper on how to build resilience in families of children with special needs. Despite all of my complaints, I think these classes help me become a better person. Thinking about the issues and struggles of people who aren't me makes me feel empathy for others. And recognizing your small actions can have a positive impact on the lives of others is a good feeling.

Yeah but the cops get teacher wives to abuse at least. I am highly likely to have to settle for a nurse. And it is really hard to keep track of your wife if you can't go to the local board of education website and find her schedule.
