The M95 is rocking for close-up shit in SF. Lay back at the Palace corners and just wait. I don't use it for pilots though. The only way I can see myself doing that is Wake if I'm USMC and get on the Airfield unseen.

M24 is really, really good for long range shit. I've hit people in FAV's firing that I couldn't even see. I had to judge them by their tracer rounds.

THE M95 is better... if ur any good at sniping you will realize that its easier to judge the drop long range...
i find the bullet drop easier to judge with the L96A1, the m95 is not easier to judge, it depends on what gun you are used to.

The M24 and the L96A1 are factually twice as accurate as the M95 when zoomed, while the M95 takes .6 seconds less time to take out. The M95 also has fatter crosshairs, making distant targets a pain to aim on.

The semi-auto sniper rifles are a lot better than most people think. Think about it this way; If you like your m24/l96, and you always go for headshots, and rarely take bodyshots, then what's the diff? The semi-auto ones have ideal crosshairs, and can kill in a single headshot. If you miss your first headshot, try again. Take your time though, just because it's semi auto doesn't mean you can rush your way through. If you master that, even better, but it takes a shitload of work and time.

m95 feels clumsy and inaccurate. The "It can shoot through cockpits" arguement doesn't redeem it enough for me.

Although who am I to talk about sniping? (see stats)

Indeed, but i would take the m24 when playing SF depending on what map.

Ghost town would be the only level i would take the m95, becuase you can sit in that tower and snipe anyone that tries to take them choppers
Which is why I always turn my chopper round as soon as I get in (even if I take a little damage as I hit the wall),  I get a funny kind of satisfaction listening to M95 bullets ping of the rear of my chopper.....

What the other dude said.... M95 is better when choppers are raping (wake or sharqi) because 8 shots to any part of the cockpit can completely blow up a chopper. This means you can frequently take down damaged choppers and sometimes cleanly take out pilots or at the very least send them away for repairs. The M95 is one of the only undetectable ways of attacking a chopper. This power also can be used against buggies with similar results. The L96 does virtually no damage to any vehicles. The M95 requires more careful aim and it seems to help if u make sure you are motionless when u fire.

On karkand I just use the L96 because it seems simpler to line up a head shot on the go without missing and the vehicle benefits are not relevant.
