Congrats and good luck to the both of ya!
Camm has reproduced twice. He is literally more biologically successful than any of the other holdouts here.
Congrats, Camm.

So I still have a ghost. Pretty crazy thing just happened now regarding the ghost.
Did it go down on you like in ghostbusters?
No. I am unsure of the ghost gender anyway.
Well if you're already making out with a poltergeist behind your date's back, I'm sure its gender is the least of everyone's concern.
Has anyone here ever had "Channel Island milk"? I switched to no fat milk from whole and learned about Channel Island milk or Jersey Milk from Wikipedia. Jersey milk should be a thing in NJ.
Pretty sure its just milk.
Fuck Israel
don't forget to take pics of yourself doing that and become a tik-tok star.Camm wrote:

p.s. congrats.
if you open your mind too much your brain will fall out.
Is anyone familiar with the podcast The Moth? A friend used "moth story" in a group chat and it split about 50:50 for people who knew that that meant. I'd never heard of it before, even as someone who clocked a few weeks of cumulative listening time in 2020. Online information is very unhelpful of describing it beyond "people telling stories". I've downloaded a few recent ones to try it out, but I do have to suppress my urge to pre-judge it based on how full of itself it sounds.
Moth Radio Hour has been a thing for a long time. It's pretty inclusive and a low bar to get in, so it's very hit or miss and dependent on the storyteller's natural ability. I've heard some good ones and some not so good ones
That has been my experience thus far, and I wouldn't say any of them have been "good". It lines up with how a friend described them as "standup, but way less funny". It seems something fine to have on in the background where you don't need to pay a bunch of attention, but I've got other podcasts I can be way more confident I'll enjoy at this stage.

The local NPR station airs it on either Saturday or Sunday mornings. I don't make time specifically to listen to it, but I've heard more than a few. Some people have a gift to entertain, and benefit from the editors' abilities to refine the story. They aren't all meant to be funny, but I think humor is a natural way to connect with an audience and get them to sympathize. I've heard some pretty depressing ones. I tend to like the average Joe type stories, because I like hearing little slices of American life.
Like a good American Christian, I will be visiting Walmart this Easter Sunday. I am in the middle of Spring Cleaning. I have a big homework project due Monday 11:59 PM that I haven't started yet and spring cleaning and waiting on line gives me time to think about what I need to do. I actually put on a nice pair of track pants and workout clothes before heading to Walmart so I don't end up on "People of Walmart".
I don't know if it's just my imagination, the chain's reputation, the oppressive lighting, or the stressed coupon clippers, but it feels wrong inside of walmarts. Like there's some underlying vibe of discomfiture. I'd rather be inside a Target.
It's not that bad. I have never seen anyone use a coupon.
Other thoughts: self checkout. If I am going to use self checkout I am taking my time and not rushing.

I've gotten a lot of practice at self-checkouts. Scanning the second item before the first has finished dropping into the sack, and practically reaching for the third. I think I could recall the code for like six different types of apple if pressed. Be nice if more had tables large enough to fit a cartload of stuff, though.
Not a job I'd want, 12 hours a day of reminding people to stand a bit apart.

What kind of foreigners does Amazon hire for customer service? Had a woman with an entertaining accent that I couldn't figure out.
The irony of guns, is that they can save lives.
amazon outsources their customer service and sales. Last salesperson i talked to was from the subcontinent. They are super fucking annoying and totally unhelpful. Fuck amazon
