Another one that aged pretty well if you ask me. v amusing video too. RHCP were pretty darn good.

Was sent this fundraiser channel today, respectable cover I think:
The covid commentary in the description is interesting. I'd be more critical maybe, but kids have gotten sucked back into on-site school.

A nice track and artist I discovered. I bought the album after hearing this song.

as dance music, it's not good. it's very 'goldmann sachs executive plays DJ set at miami terrace' in vibe.
about 70% of all EDM has that exact same drum loop and sample. the white noise filter sweeps. the same drum rhythm. schweeeeee uhn tish uhn tish uhn tish, with no syncopation or groove or damn feeling.
the track has nice bits but they're from the source material. the nice floaty reverbed guitar melody is nice and obviously catchy. but the vaguely tropical-sounding drums and accents that the guy puts down ... cringe.
now here's some grooooove.

also the guitar chord progression from that track sounds like a real rip-off of this STONE. COLD. CLASSIC.
notice just how much better the bass-line and drum syncopation are, how they wiggle and jack with one another. the track you linked just seems so flaccid and enervated, in comparison.

Avoiding zombie content, I see.
I didn't claim to be avoiding Zombie content.

this entire record has been blowing my mind lately. moving beyond belief.
it’s fake but nvm.
Watching CNN. They were talking about the Taliban returning then went to commercial. The first commercial was for a back to school clothes sale. The kids in the commercial were dancing to the old rap song "welcome back" by Mase.

500,000 views. 'obscure'. lol.
amazing sound design.
I've been coming back to some of the playlists put together in this game (goes by red, green, blue in-game) for some of my other chillax games (Satisfactory to name an example). Just has that vibe when you're no longer in do or die mode.
I hated working on cars. Literally dark times.

Having something as a job can really turn you off of doing it as a hobby sometimes. The game is alright though, you don't have crap all over your body, gunk on the engine (it's either new or super rusty, not a lot of in-between on the RNG work orders), don't have to deal with staff or customer complaints, and all the problems have predictable solutions.
Still, the better game in this kind of genre would be World of Guns. It actually has a very cool xray mode where you can watch layers of internal mechanisms at work in slow-motion. The disassembly-reassembly minigames are more fun/rewarding.
