I think snipers are prolly the worst scum too. Mainly because of the M95 and teamkilling though. However, clays are ridiculously annoying to deal with on Karkand nowadays. I never once moaned or asked for them to change before 1.2 and they were just fine. Now 8 people run in front of them safe but if one enemy gets within 10' they die and go boom. It's a near guaranteed kill every time you drop one. My point being, bullets and explosives are blind, they should kill whatever they come into contact with.
On a side note, and kit is capable of being scum. Snipers just seem to take the cake.

Is it any more cheap than some kid that sits in a tank and rapes a spawn point for half hour..or a commander that sends relentless arty into uncap main bases, or the guy sitting in his spawn raping, air owning, ground pounding J-10? NO! A claymore is a form of a bomb. I couln't care if it is "supposted to be used for defense" because guess what..IT'S NOT. By definetion it's a fucking bomb and it kills people by whatever means. Clays make excellent flag defense weapons. Not only can one score flag defense bonuses...But you can count on enemy troops entering those areas.

I respectfully disagree. The premise that snipers are the worst scum is just ridiculous. He complains about the kit that he himself uses. Look back at the posts. Have to disagree with the OP... if I am playing karkand the first thing i do when I spawn is claymore the flag. I try to place it tight against a surface so that it is harder to see and impossible to defuse as you can't get behind it. I also try to place it so that it won't be triggered by tanks or apcs.
e.g.
hotel
tight against the door at the top of the stairs
tight against the outer wall facing the flag
facing the ladder on the other side (only as mec on a busy server)

So what's wrong with getting a guaranteed kill every time you spawn? If nothing else it keeps the K/D neutral if your team is getting pwned.

SNIPERS ROCK MAN. and ive never had that claymore thing happen to me. i think-when u spawn- the claymores don't detect you.
I'm no sniper but i dont get headshotted by one very often mostly when i get shot i jump around a corner and throw a medic pack to heal. mostly i play in vehicles

first off, the M95 has thicker crosshairs making it bad for anything but killing vehicles.
the SVD is by far one of the best rifles if it's in good hands and also the other sniper unlock is good (forgot the name but it has way thinner crosshairs, faster reload time, and 95% dmg)
About claymores, they hurt like crap if you're careless...
If you know what you're doing then you'd either see it before you walked in front of it or avoided areas where it's impossible to find claymores before they hit you.
Claymoring flags is cheap as it forces the enemy to sacrifice their soldiers to get the flag but it's a good defense. I don't do that crap, but other people do.
Claymores are also the best at defending against campers...
put them facing the other way behind a spawn and they always catch the campers by suprise.
When claymores are used to camp spawns... (believe me, it works.. i've seen people do it)
it's not too bad as it only kills one person at best (sometimes it only wounds a person).
Overall, claymoring isn't something to complain about...
If you have the energy to complain, complain about point farming and camping or vehicle whoring in karkand.

The claymores in BF ARE like claymores in real life... well except for the FF crap of the newer patches. I don't know how often I will have to tell you guys again, but a damn claymore is NOT just like the mines you know from WWII.
