Probably an Indian

i mean, that's obvious a scam or phishing campaign ... to quote your own words, "yeah, that's nice and all, but what does that have to do with vast amounts of the UK population living in effective poverty?" your average person facing destitution or problems with heating this winter isn't sending unsolicited messages to people asking for £8k.Dauntless wrote:

Again, not what I said. You pay tax but you don't contribute anything to the local economy and businesses here do you?uziq wrote:
i pay my taxes just the same as you do. or are you saying that your political opinion should be worth more because you earn a bit more money than i do? lol interesting theory of democracy there, chump. no wonder you look down on the little poor people
but that’s precisely why trickle down didn’t work the first time and why cutting taxes for the top rate of earners won’t work this time.Dauntless wrote:

its almost like privatization just shifts the burden of payment and its almost like a wholesale purchaser like a government who can set prices is probably better controlled than private entities.uziq wrote:

america spends more per person on it’s private healthcare then anywhere else on earth by quite a margin, and has decidedly mid-table performance.
the NHS was widely considered one of the 2-3 best-performing healthcare systems in the world, on multiple metrics, all of a decade or so ago. that’s by polling healthcare professionals too not the public for their flag-waving opinion.
privatisation does the opposite of introduce efficiencies and promote better performance. another handy myth of the neoliberal dogma kit. who knew?
almost every advanced western country is facing an ageing (and increasingly ailing) society. social care, pensions and nursing budgets are bloating. but there’s more than one way to deal with that. and letting a bunch of beady-eyed little weasels like jeremy cunt stripmine highly enviable institutions and divvy up the private contracts between his mates is not the way.
the conservatives have tried the same rhetorical trick with public schools too, trying to expedite switching them into ‘academies’ ran by rich tory nobs.

I picked this up last night. So far so good but the technology and integration is a bit annoying. I now have 2 apps for my car 🙄KEN-JENNINGS wrote:

2023 Subaru Outback Wilderness edition. Finally pulled the trigger. I think I'm going to keep my Corolla as a daily driver. It only has 115k miles on it and still runs great. FWP time: I have a 2 car garage and one spot is for my gf's car so the corolla will have to sit outside
