I keep seeing the word chamz when people talk about hacks for BF2, but I can't seem to figure out what they are. Any one want to explain what they are?

cham is not that
cham is short for chamelon(sp)
makes the character models in game whatever color you chose so you can see better

The colours are pre-defined by the programmer. If the colour combination you wish to use is in their list of availables, then you can use it, else not. Players are a certain colour when behind a certain object and unable to be shot, and another colour when able to be shot because they're in the open.
Put in layman's terms: makes characters all bright and orangey thus theoretically easier to shoot. But I suspect people using chamz already cannot shoot straight so it doesn't help them. At all.

its called chameleon as they change colour. when they are behind an object and unable to be shot they are one colour but as they come out from behind the object the areas you can shoot change to a different colour.

Firstly there are easily available chams for CS and secondly... They have VAC not pb
