i was pissing about on wake yesterday shoot off rockets at the carrier from the arty island when all of a sudden i got a kill damage assist:

it came up as FIM92 Stinger but with the next set of kills i got :

and it all back to normal

also the people who owned the server where wankers, they would let me use arty

FIM92 Stinger is the shoulder stinger fired in the DC mod for 1942.. that's the only time I've seen that.

on wake the over the day, i was in a stinger, shot a plane, then seconds later i got the kill but the name wasnt just stinger, it had summut else before or after it, lemme check if i have a screenshot...

i dont. sum1 got a load of arty kills before i got take a shot if i remember correctly.

It happens sometimes, on certain occasions you can get the F-15 copilot kill messge "Maverick" and such. Aswell as "Hellfire" for cobra and so on.
