I can see the US Navy losing because they're generally incompetent and they're probably about 30 years out of date.

mac is probably closer to the truth. i'd probably be more concerned about trump meddling and mismanagement than current modernity. as usual, we're building new ships like we're going to war, and probably half of them look like they're out of Empire Strikes Back.

"30 years out of date," like who the hell replaces an entire fleet in one go like buying a new car? is it uncommon for a military to retrofit and upgrade?
