My friend bought BF2 two days ago and had a real blast playing the singleplayer part. So when he wants to start playing online, well, he can't connect. He can log into his multiplayer account, but he can't bring up a list of servers.

He plays WOW alot so there cant be anything wrong with his connection, right? He also turned off his firewalls, and he tried loading up different webpages just to check.

His computer is brand new and powerful, and like I wrote, he can play WOW on high graphic settings with no lag.

He downloaded and installed the patch too. What gives? What else should we be looking at?

I suggest not using the in-game browser since it is total crap. Go download BF2AutoLoader or something less specific such as ASE or X-Fire and join a server from that program instead.
