But why have unlock and desert eagles?? Arent all of u skilled enough to perform kills with something like knifes or the red fuel cans that you nee the D E. plz go and play CS if u want a D E
I think they should give us an Uzi that would be pretty tight.
id love to see a deagle in the game. hell id love to see something better than the goddamned 9mm crap we have to deal with. i want to see a friggen USP .45 or a SOCOM. maybe go a bit further with the heavier round shtuff go for an MP-10 unlock for AT or engy.

LOl it sounds like a bunch of CS players have overrun the BF2S forum.
Although they obviously cannot make the pistol changeable for the different classes, they could change it for certain sides in SF maps, they're already doing it with the regular guns. G36K for British on Warlord and SCAR-H for Navy SEALS on Iron Gator, as examples.
I would just like to point out that the SCAR-H is a BEAST! I got 45 kills in one round with it last night, no joke. only 17 or 19 deaths too, lol.

No, a 1911 is not very smart. It's a good man stopper, sure, but the mag capacity is way to small, and 9mm ammo is cheaper than .45 ammo.
A magnum is just the same. Not enough ammo in one wheel and expensive ammo. The pistols in Bf2 aren't meant to be powerful, just life saving. And pistol unlocks = way easy pistol badge.
EDIT: And a Desert Eagle is just plain dumb. To heavy and bulky for use on the field. A deagle is mostly a hunting handgun, because it's not terribly accurate. And again, mag capacity.
Now, a USP compact or a glock would be more sensible. The pistols in the game are meant to be small and light, like in RL.
EDIT AGAIN: Oh, and response to someone on page 1, they don't use a D.E., they use a smaller, more compact variant. I believe it's nicknames the "Baby Deagle".

ooh i think its the .357 version of the deagle, i belive from what iive read is the .357 version of the deagle carries 12 rounds, the .44 mag carries 9 rounds, and the .50 version has 7 rounds, i would be happy with a .357 version
