Well, the explosive rounds gave the gun a better feeling of spread, and in reality if you ran inbetween a blackhawk mini-gun and it's target, you probably wouldn't walk it off. I think you need to die if one of those is pointed at you and the trigger is pulled. You know what would be cool? Mounted miniguns as ground defence.Bell wrote:

EA shoudl have left the Hawk exactly as it was. As awesome as it was, the only time it was "unstoppable" was on Mashtuur. And that's because all of the Assault/Support fags didn't want to chage kits to bring it down.

Oh yes, the 6 kill black hawk how i love them kills. Especially at the start of cleansweep when they try sneaking around the back to the airfield.
Anyway, EA/Dice sux. Unfortunately I was still in my noob stage when these BH were monsters although I remember going medic in a team of them and we owned.
I also remember seeing the BSF/TOP guys owning on wake and I joined their squad and one guy (might well of been vengeance actually) told me what they were doing.
Now the gun is shit. You might as well throw ammo packs at them or something. Same as the A10 cannon. I really think they should represent their RL counterparts.

EA wants to make the game as realistic as possible supposedly. But they make the Black Hawk so damn inaccurate its not even funny. The guns on the Black Hawk are made for accuracy.
Mmmm there was, shonghua stalemate, if anything it was better on that map, the trees provided good cover to bug out, while your engineer's rattled there fists as though they where masturbating. Apcs and tanks weren't a problem, the gunner and perhaps some random AT guy would make light work of them. Basically there was no real reason a fully loaded black hawk would be brought down. That i feel was the problem many whined about. My best BH round was on shongua with 150 points as pilot, my best machur was 137. It was particularly good when the PLA where reduced to 2-3 flags. Way way back in the 'good old' days a black hawk could enialate the ground troops, capture the far away base and slowly squeeze the enemy in then round over. My opinion was, perhaps a slight 'nerf' and then up grade the z-8 to equal it. I never go USMC anymore, only did because of the bh and the team play. Omg lol a fully loaded black hawk is practically the only example of actual team play you would ever see on bf2, pilots setting up there gunners, engineers repairing there vehicle, medics aiding and support guys supporting, all in there noble quest to kill bloody snipers!!!!!
