hey, i unlocked the upgraded sniper rifle, and people are easy to kill. But im wondering, how do you shoot the pilot in the cockpit. i shoot and shoot, but i get nothing. They just wont die. SO im asking, is there any damage points on the helicopter that i can shoot that might bring down the chopper, or kill the guy riding in it, also.. is there a certain distance you have to be away from it to bring it down. THX.
I don't personally have the m95 unlocked, however I do know a few things. You cannot destroy a helicopter with the sniper rifle by hitting it in specific spots, what you can do is hit the pilot through the shielded glass with a well placed shot. It is pretty difficult to do, but totally possible, just keep trying.

the best way I've found is to shoot them from the side while they are hovering in place tring to cap a flag, but I have shot down both cobra & Mi28 when they come at me nose down so that there is no slope to the fron of the cockpit.
Also if shooting either the Mi28 or the Cobra, shoot the gunner first then the pilot..LOL

It's a very funny sight when you kill the pilot. Depending if the helo is hovering or moving, it begins to spin out of control and whoever is onboard has no idea what's going on before it's too late to press F1 and try to save it or bail out.
Once I killed a pilot of a fully loaded blackhawk, it begin a slow roll and rapid climb. Eventually it was inverted and slammed into the building killing everyone. What sucks is someone aboard the helo got slammed with a ton of TKs. OH WELL......

Stew, The M95 can do damage to a BH, Cobra, AZ-10 (may have that wrong), Whale, etc. A well placed shot will get you a damage assist or if the helo is low on health then a total kill. When a BH is heading nose forward in your direction then aim to your left side at the cockpit window where the pilot is. May get lucky or might not.
I took out a BlackHawk on Dalian Plant and scored 5 kills on one shot because the BH was previously damaged by friendly aircraft. I was shocked the first time that happened.

He must have tried to save it....they need to fix that tk bug, like when a chopper gets rammed, and the pilot is stuck with 5 tks.Chazflyz wrote:

You can actually shoot down a plane, or helo, with the m95.

And I noticed although it could be just a fluke but some shots seem to be lucky and can make the aircraft flame up even with full health, although my test might have been wrong.

I shot a pilot in a hovering F-35, hovering over a flag. I shot his plane, his plane caught fire, he jumped out and the plane killed him all in one motion. I really wanted the m95 kill shot too... showed up as that I killed him with the F-35
