I've had t his problem for a while, and the new patch didn't fix it.

Whenever I try to load the game, it gives [url=http://img282.imageshack.us/img282/8983/untitled4ei.jpg]This[/url] Error.

Anyone know if there has been a fix for this?

And yes, I have tried reinstalling the game.

edit: Fuck, I messed up the image tags.

ZOOM IN... and i know, windows is having an issue with the .exe. it has to do with your windows trying to process the .exe through MSDOS...i dunno, cant help a.

Well, there isn't much more I can tell you.

That is the exact error, the program ceases running after I get that. I have no other error messeges.

Did you try to reinstall your game and if you do don't delete the patch

Have you experimented with running vanilla explorer.exe as opposed to the shell?

The error message isn't very descriptive and doesn't help all that much.

What hardware are you running? what version drivers. etc. etc. would be helpful as well

It would help if you posted a pic of the error report details, click on the more details line (where it says 'to see more details etc), and post the numbers it shows, someone may recognise what is causing the crash.

use a mini image mounted on daemon tools from gamecopyworld instead of the disc and i imagine it will run fine.
