Yep thats a safer route and therefore one i'd use. You can also climb the ladder underneath that CP and take the flag while still on the ladder, if any trouble comes along you can just slide back down and escape.
I like to let the US take their precious bridge base and sit by the tree on the other side of the valley sniping them.
no, i dont really play kubra dam, but thanks for the info
I like to go the red route cos on the way past the exit from the usmc base i drop a few at mines. Sometimes get lucky.
i actually always seem to get the bomber on that map first, which is great! so no i dont do that. but now uv mentioned it, i can give it a go sometime.
I knew that and I've played kubra like what? once? lol.
I'll drive from Refulling in a jeep, jump the cliff next to the bridge, chute down, run up the ladder, flags mine. Thats the quickest route to the bridge flag. Its better though (as round starts) to drive over bridge, down the route they come from, lay as many Engineer mines as possible and run up the bank by there 1 arty. Get a crate re-ammo and then sneak into there base via the AA vehicle. Mine in front of that, 2 on the road/grass, carry on, 1 in front of tank x2 n apc.
Thats the way I use as well, much quicker than any other.1927 wrote:

I'd use that shortcut if I was on foot and had no other choice, but other wise I grab a jeep as well.
Uh... That's the route I usually take to get to that CP from there?????????
I don't like to ground-pound on Kubra but it's a route I'd use. I'll do something like the reverse if I'm heading in the opposite direction.voltage wrote:
When playing as MEC on Kubra Dam (largest size), do you ever take this route (green) to the first CP? Haven't seen anyone else do it, despite it being shorter than the red route and much less dangerous. The wall offers some protection and if a enemy vehicle comes it's easy to hide.
Shhhh! Don't tell people that, it's one of the subtler caps that a lot of people don't seem to know. But with the level of vehicle use on that map typically I doubt most folks would care anyway=FDX=VEga wrote:

Same here but no matter how many times i get someone else in the jeep with me and no matter how many times i say "hop out" the dumbass allways falls ALLLLLLLL the way down and kills himself.Slickfish wrote:

Ive learned from this lesson, stop and wait at the bridge entrance and wait for them to jump out, run to the bit we drive off and watch them 'chute down to the ground. Sometimes I will bring the jeep down on top of them even before they hit the ground, thats skill for you. It dont matter how tuff a parachute is a jeep will always go straight through it.Cbass wrote:

But as mentioned as soon as the round starts I spawn at refuelling, ignore the APC and get in the jeep, bollocks to giving a lift the APC will take 6 and you never get 6 starting there anyway, their all having a party on the airfield waiting for a jet which won't crash because it has a good pilot in it. <<< see a previous thread about pilots.
And off I go to cause havoc with my mines and recieve verbals on the screen from the usa team.
