no, dont increase flashbang distance, flashes are ment for clearing out rooms, not blinding new york square. BTW get your knife/pistol badge the real way and not lame things like flashbanging a street. For extra coolness points get it on another map than a city map, ex= i got my expert knife on wake island, driving around in a DPV and jumping out and knifing noobs waiting for jet and chopper.

I've heard this tactic elsewhere and may have to consider it when I try for my Expert Pistol (only 109 pistol kills left before I can try... )

I do like using the silenced pistol, though.  Works pretty well.  A sniper rifle shot with a pistol finish is also nice (though I wouldn't be able to pull off 18 this way).  I do like the idea of giving yourself really easy targets to play with.

As for throwing flash bangs... can you do the c4 tossing trick with them to get some more range?  Since c4 tossing is back, I'd imagine that it might work with other items as well.

I may give it a try tonight and see how it goes.

Considering Wake's still pretty much an infantry map, there's not really any difference between it and a City map, seeing as how it's common in "City Only" type map rotations.

More impressive would be the larger maps like Dragon Valley, Songhoua, Zatar, FuShe Pass and so on.

As for flashbangs, they're there to use so why not use them?  I can always appreciate good tactical use of flashbangs even if it's at my expense.  Using them to get easier pistol and knife kills is a pretty smart tactic.

if anybody has trouble with the badges now, they should quit the game asap.


btw knife/pistol servers are awesome when the rules are followed. i have all my knife badges (before 1.3, btw) so i dont feel like im statpadding when i play on them. its no different than a 16 player karkand server. you still have to kill people. its no easier with a knife or pistol than a g36e or tank. most people on them finish at a less than 1 k:d ratio anyway (not me, i get at least 4:1 because im pro).
