I nearly never play Songhua but always play karkand!
of my some odd 700 hours playing bf2 ive got 16 of em playing on songhua
and at least 4 of those were within the last week
and im actually finding its a really good map for AT, engineer, and the occasional lone spec ops
if youve got a good squad of 4 or 5 AT, then armor is as hard a butter
and its really good for engies and their armor, because theres no choppers or jets there to constantly cream you

Well I am a retired karkand whore, with my new GFX card that lets me play any map I want. So I think that m karkand to sonhgua ratio would be pretty tilted to karkand. BUT I do enjoy songhua stalemate better then any other map! Its just so scenic and when you get i a small firefight with your ak 47 out it just o much more climatic thenkarknd.

I like Songhua, but I can never find a good server. There are always good servers for karkand and sharqi.
TV2 used to have a 24/7 Songhua but they seem to have closed it down .

Songhua is a thinking person's map. It requires strategy and teamwork. Karkand, at least around the hotel is a point and kill map. I enjoy Songhua for the fact that I don't have to worry about attack choppers and jets. I just hate commanding on Songhua as you have to be a fighting commander regardless of the number of players.
